| John & Jamie Throckmorton - Owners
We purchased Something Extra Preschool in 1992 in its original location on Elkhorn Blvd. Jamie worked for many years in the preschool industry as a teacher's aide, teacher, and administrator and obtained a degree in Early Childhood Development from California State University, Sacramento. As the Owner/Director Jamie has had the opportunity to build a great staff and seen many children grow up to be great young adults, some who to this day stay in contact with her. John works in the computer industry and assists behind the scenes in the operation of the preschool. In our free time we enjoy spending time with our three children, participating and watching their many athletic and artistic events. |

I am the Assistant Director at Something Extra Preschool and Childcare. I started my adventure at Something Extra in 1996. I am currently attending American River college to enhance my education in E.C.E. I enjoy Starbucks, shopping and relaxing with a good movie with my family. |

I have worked at Something Extra Preschool and Childcare since 2003. I am currently attending American River college to complete my E.C.E units. I enjoy working with children I love watching them play and grow. In my spare time I enjoy shopping, spending time with my family and reading. |

I have been working with children for sometime now. I really enjoy giving your children a good start to their education. Besides teaching and caring for your children, I also enjoy reading, cooking and spending time with my husband and our three children. |
